What are traditional braces?
Our bespoke braces treatments comprise metal brackets safely affixed to each tooth’s front. Metal archways connect through each bracket and are held in place by small elastics. Together the brackets and archwires gradually apply pressure, guiding teeth to the desired position.

One benefit of braces is how durable they are. However, accidents do happen. Not all broken brackets are cause for emergency. First, call our clinic to let us know what happened and schedule an appointment. Then, carefully evaluate the breakage. If the bracket is still attached, gently push it in place with a Q-tip and cover it with orthodontic wax to prevent rubbing. If the bracket has completely detached, carefully remove it and bring it to your visit.
